For my Master in Fashion Design at IED Barcelona, I created a couture collection inspired by Ecuadorian Valdivia Culture and the Huaycañan concept from renowned artist Oswaldo Guayasamín. The color palette, in terra tones ranging from light to dark, symbolizes the circle of life and "el camino del llanto" (the path of tears). I incorporated hand-woven Panama hat material, reflecting traditional craftsmanship, along with jute and organza to balance heaviness and lightness. This collection is a tribute to Ecuadorian heritage, blending cultural elements with contemporary design.
